10th Anniversary of Annual Gala Excitement is already brewing over the 2010 event- Dancing for the Stars and of course, the stars everyone will be dancing for are the abused and neglected children CASA serves. CASA is embarking on its sixth year as a line item on the Oklahoma State Income Tax Form. This means that Oklahomans can donate part of their state tax return to help support our local CASA programs. All of the donations are divided equally among all of the CASA programs. Just look for “Support Programs for Volunteers to Act as Court Appointed Special Advocates for Abused and Neglected Children” to designate your donation for CASA.
If you file your own taxes…Remember to check Schedule 511 G / Line 6 on your state income tax return. If you have any questions, please contact CASA at 800-742- 2272 or the Oklahoma Tax Commission at 405-521-3637.
